These are small mindful choices on my plate right now. I wrote these 6 months ago. I admit, I have been inconsistent with a few, but that is ok. My husband always tells me, “as long as you keep going back” that’s what matters.
HERES WHAT MAY BE HELPFUL TO YOU TOO!
Week 1– Hydrate ~ Drink more water. Sip smart.
Week 2– Rest ~ Wind down early and stick to your regular sleep schedule.
Week 3– Stretch ~ Move your body. Yoga evey damn day!
Week 4– Unplug ~ Disconnect from unnecessary technology.
Week 5– Boost ~ Try to make sure you eat 3 vegetabes a day.
Week 6– Nourish ~ Focus on something other than food that fills you up.
Week 7– Order ~ Take care of your space. Your sweet little nest.
Week 8– Balance ~ Limit your overall salt & sugar intake.
Week 9– Reconnect ~ Turn off the TV, read, write, and get outside.
Week 10– Practice ~ Take up a brand new hobby.
Week 11– Cook ~ Eat only food that you prepare at home ( except for Saturday nights 🙂 ).
Week 12– Dress ~ Step outside your style comfort zone.
It’s a process. It can be a slow process. You can make small choices day after day, week after week. A good book in your hand, a little more water, more vegetables, disconnecting most of the day, and getting yourself on your mat everyday… even when you don’t think you have a minute to spare.
The weekly challege is good for you too, because it changes with the weeks. You can tell yourself yes, I’m doing this, I’m in this. I’m doing what I can to make my life even better. It’s small, but enough for me!
~Maybe you can try to commit to ONE small change for each of these weeks. You will notice how one small shift can reap big rewards. You will notice how great it feels. Keep in mind, it takes about 60 days before a new habit becomes automatic. You can do it. Please, don’t judge yourself if you can‘t commit to every week. Try one or two at a time and focus on only that. Then move on, keeping the previous weeks in mind. That’s what I choose to do. At the end of the day, whether it took 50 days or 100 days, you have to put in the work either way. So, embrace it! Enjoy the wellness ride!
Always remember, LOVE YOURSELF FIRST & YOU ARE ENOUGH!
Sending you Love & Light, From my heart to yours, Stacey Xo
